The Heavy Cavalry update introduces a new mechanic: rocket engine thrust now depends on atmospheric pressure, increasing at altitude. AIM-54 Phoenix missiles get this first, with future rollout to other systems. Your air combat tactics will shift.

You can now unlock the Leopard 2RI, a Rank VIII tank for the Japanese tree. This tank combines reinforced armor, powerful ammunition (DM53 APFSDS), and solid mobility for aggressive combat. Prepare your progression to add it to your Japanese lineup.
The Fw 189 С, a German premium ground attacker, arrives in the next major update. Armed with four machine guns and two 15 mm cannons with 30+ mm AP penetration, it excels against early light tanks. You'll fly low, straight passes over the battlefield to maximize effectiveness while armor protects you from enemy fire.
The F-101C Voodoo, a new American interceptor, arrives in the Heavy Cavalry update. This aircraft excels with excellent climb rate and high top speed, letting you reach altitude first and catch opponents. It's armed with rapid-fire 20 mm cannons carrying 800 rounds.
You gain access to passive-homing anti-radiation missiles and electronic support measures to counter air-defense systems (SPAA and radar). This fundamentally shifts air-vs-defense dynamics and is essential for Nuclear Escalation.
